Job description

Overview

The Carreo International seeks an experienced Finance Manager to spearhead the finance department and direct the company's financial policies and operations. The role includes handling accounting procedures, budgeting, internal control adherence, financial analysis, and contributing to strategic business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting activities, ensuring timely monthly and annual closings.
  • Produce accurate financial statements and detailed management reports.
  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury functions seamlessly.
  • Track daily cash flow rigorously and perform regular bank reconciliations.
  • Guarantee compliance with VAT regulations, ZATCA mandates, and e-invoicing protocols.
  • Formulate annual budgets, forecasts, and conduct thorough financial assessments.
  • Continuously compare financial outcomes with budgetary and forecasted goals.
  • Implement and maintain ERP-based financial processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Establish robust internal controls alongside finance policies to safeguard assets.
  • Analyze profitability on the basis of contracts, customers, individual vehicles, and trips.
  • Keep a close watch on fleet expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and tire costs.
  • Compile detailed reports on cost centres and job costing metrics.
  • Deliver insightful financial advice and suggestions to higher management levels.
  • Supervise and lead the finance department personnel effectively.
  • Communicate key financial performance indicators to executive leadership clearly.
  • Support strategic planning activities and company expansion efforts.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, financial institutions, regulators, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify financial risks proactively and suggest corrective strategies.
  • Ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial reports across all organizational units.

Requirements

  • At least seven years of substantial experience in related finance roles.
  • Possession of professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent credentials is strongly preferred.
  • Proven background working with transportation, logistics, construction, or contracting companies.
  • Expertise in cost centre management, job costing, and profitability evaluations.
  • Practical experience with ERP financial systems implementation or administration.
  • Sound understanding of VAT laws, ZATCA rules, e-invoicing, and standard financial reporting.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel for advanced financial modeling and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence software is an advantage.
  • Strong skills in financial planning, analytical problem solving, and decision making.
  • Excellent leadership capabilities along with effective communication skills.
