It provides research and development, homologation, testing and certification, calibration, and skill development services to automotive and allied industries worldwide.

Role Overview

We are looking to fill the position of Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Manager (Finance) - ICWA for our Finance and Accounts department (F&A) at our Kothrud, Pune location. The role demands a proficient ICWA professional with extensive experience in finance and accounting to head the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the processes of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including financial statements and management accounts.
• Oversee and manage accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.
• Formulate and implement financial strategies to boost profitability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), regulatory frameworks, and industry-specific guidelines.
• Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions.
• Handle compliance related to income tax, GST, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct audits and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Manage direct and indirect taxes, including planning and optimization.
• Supervise cash flow and investment activities.
• Manage government projects ensuring all regulatory compliances are met.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possession of ICWA qualification is mandatory.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
• Comprehensive expertise in income tax, audits, compliance, GST, statutory rules, accounts receivable/payable, direct and indirect taxation, cash flow management, investment handling, and government project management.
• Strong foundation in technical accounting principles.
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving proficiencies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency with financial software and systems such as SAP and other accounting platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications like Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Certified Risk Management Auditor (CRMA) are desirable.
• Experience collaborating with external entities including banks and auditors.
• Familiarity with regulations and standards related to automotive manufacturing and dealership operations is advantageous.
