Field Service Engineer

About the Role and Company

Timpson Group is seeking a motivated individual to join their growing field service team, responsible for maintaining a range of photobooths, photo printing kiosks, and key-cutting machines. This full-time position involves routine servicing, preventive maintenance, restocking, and merchandising across a designated territory near Paisley, Scotland. Comprehensive training and a company vehicle will be provided to support your work.

Key Responsibilities

• Replenish and restock machines to ensure availability
• Conduct preventive maintenance visits according to a schedule within the assigned territory
• Perform site surveys for potential new machine installations
• Maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of all machines
• Manage cash removal and deposits securely
• Carry out repairs as part of ongoing maintenance programs
• Manage stock both onsite and within the company vehicle
• Offer support or cover for other field engineers during holidays
• Build and maintain good working relationships with concession partners' staff
• Demonstrate kindness and helpfulness to colleagues and customers
• Maintain a professional appearance, wear appropriate uniform and name badge, and leave machines in better condition than found

Working Hours and Location

This position requires working 45 hours per week, typically 5 days out of 7, traveling within a 10-mile radius of Paisley and surrounding areas.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary is £29,952 per annum
• Performance-based uncapped monthly bonuses typically around £400 after probation

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

The ideal candidate must hold a full driving license, be self-driven, enthusiastic to earn bonuses, eager to develop new skills, and have high personal standards. No prior experience is required as extensive training is provided. Being based near Paisley, UK is essential.
