Facilities Associate Engineer

Job Overview

The role involves conducting regular inspections and maintenance tasks focused on equipment and facility operations within a semiconductor factory setting. The position demands hands-on involvement in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and wastewater system upkeep while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections to identify and address equipment and facility issues promptly.
• Perform maintenance on electrical and plumbing systems.
• Maintain and repair HVAC and wastewater treatment systems.
• Support building and equipment hookups as necessary.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to established safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct checks on various facility-related equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Document maintenance work and daily activities accurately through reports and records.
• Provide facility-related assistance to other departments as needed.
• Manage the procurement and inventory of chemicals essential for facility operations.
• Collect water samples and coordinate their collection for analysis.
• Monitor and maintain spares inventory, including order tracking.
• Coordinate with waste disposal services to manage facility waste effectively.
• Oversee vendors and contractors delivering service support within the facility.
• Operate autonomously without the need for constant supervision.
• Be available to handle call-in duties as required.

Qualifications

• Possess a diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or alternatively, have a minimum of five years’ experience working in facility operations within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
