Executive Manager - Internal Audit Division

Role Overview

The National Environment Agency (NEA) invites experienced audit professionals to apply for the position of Executive Manager within its Internal Audit Division (IAD). NEA plays a central role in Singapore's environmental sustainability initiatives, and the IAD safeguards essential systems and processes that support this mission. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution of financial, compliance, and sustainability audits across NEA, managing all stages from risk evaluation to monitoring implementation of recommended actions.
• Independently coordinate smaller to mid-level complex audit projects, identifying risks and control deficiencies within diverse business systems.
• Assist in managing outsourced audit services.
• Support special investigations, projects, and facilitate Audit Committee meetings.
• Utilize data analytics, business intelligence, and visualization tools to enhance audit findings, remaining informed on emerging technologies and trends.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of professional accounting qualifications or a related field qualification, with a minimum of six years’ experience in internal or external auditing.
• Solid knowledge of governance, risk management, and control frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as Chartered Accountant (Singapore) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) are highly valued; experience in IT auditing or control self-assessment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and report writing capabilities to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
• Demonstrated independent thinking and critical analysis skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
