About the Role
As an Executive Assistant Business Partner (EABP) at Uber, you will collaborate closely with company leadership to provide sophisticated administrative and operational support. Your work will directly contribute to advancing business priorities, fostering improved team cohesion, and enhancing morale.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer proactive, high-level administrative partnership while expertly managing complex calendars through Google Calendar, including vetting and prioritizing appointments and providing scheduling recommendations.
- Ensure leaders are well-prepared and punctual for all meetings.
- Coordinate scheduling for meetings involving multiple stakeholders.
- Participate in leadership meetings by recording notes and tracking follow-up actions.
- Manage remote support for leaders and adapt to a complex conference room environment as teams return to office.
- Plan and organize events such as team meetings, all-hands gatherings, summits, and quarterly business reviews.
- Arrange domestic and international travel, including itinerary preparation, visa processing support, and travel expense report management.
- Provide reminders and follow-ups on project deadlines, action items, and deliverables.
- Assist with timely review and submission of expense reports.
- Support facility and space planning logistics as needed.
- Review team expense reports and assist in managing leaders' or team's morale budgets.
- Take on additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned, including possibly serving as executive leadership team backup.
- Contribute to the administrative program by aiding in coordination of alignment, coverage, morale, training, development, and hiring processes.
Qualifications
- Required: Minimum of 8 years in administrative roles.
- Preferred: 10+ years in administration with at least 6 years supporting a VP-level or Director-level leader in global or mid-sized businesses.
- Proficiency with Google Calendar and experience supporting multiple leaders across complex team structures.
- Exceptional communication skills, building strong relationships internally and externally.
- Independent prioritization of leaders' schedules with minimal guidance.
- Proactive mindset to identify business opportunities to add value.
- Track record of managing executive leadership support and structuring schedules aligned with long-term business goals.
- Experience establishing processes that optimize executive time and managing projects from initiation to completion.
- Detail-oriented with robust organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with budget oversight and handling confidential information.
- Comfortable working in a complex, matrixed, global organization.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Compensation and Benefits
For Chicago-based roles, the hourly base pay ranges from $53.85 to $59.62. Employees across U.S. locations may access a bonus program, possible equity awards, 401(k), and a comprehensive benefits package.
Work Environment
Although this is a remote position, Uber emphasizes collaboration with a requirement for employees to be in-office at least 50% of the time unless granted full remote approval. Some roles may require full-time on-site presence.
