Events Executive

Position Overview

The Events Executive plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating event activities at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Doha, Qatar. The role requires liaising with group coordinators and hosts to ensure event arrangements meet all client specifications and expectations. This includes reviewing banquet event orders thoroughly to capture important guest details, setup requirements, schedules, special arrangements, and various service styles such as buffets or action stations.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with group coordinators or hosts before events to introduce oneself and confirm all details.
• Carefully analyze banquet event orders to identify guest information and specific event needs.
• Address and fulfill any special banquet requests, ensuring follow-up to guarantee compliance.
• Adhere strictly to company policies including safety and security procedures, reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary company information.
• Engage guests with warm greetings, anticipate their service needs, and express genuine appreciation at event conclusion.
• Communicate clearly and professionally both in person and over the phone.
• Build positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting overall team success.
• Ensure quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment and maintain physical readiness to handle demands such as lifting objects up to 25 pounds, navigating various terrains, and remaining active throughout shifts.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications Required

• Minimum education level of a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least one year of relevant experience in a similar role.
• No prior supervisory experience necessary.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
