About the Role
Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is seeking a skilled ERP/MES/DMS Officer to join their Design Engineering Division located in Ras Al Khair, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This position reports directly to the 3D Modeling Engineer and involves supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the organization's ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365), Manufacturing Execution System, and Document Management System. The role is pivotal in advancing digital transformation initiatives, ensuring data integrity, and boosting operational effectiveness across manufacturing, engineering, and business sectors.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and provide ongoing support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP modules.
- Integrate and synchronize ERP systems with the Manufacturing Execution System to enable production oversight.
- Customize, configure, and resolve issues related to ERP workflows, reports, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with various departments including Finance, Supply Chain, Production, and HR to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.
- Conduct user training sessions for ERP and MES functionalities to empower end-users.
- Liaise with external vendors and consultants to facilitate system updates and maintenance.
- Maintain data accuracy, assure system security, and comply with IT governance policies.
- Oversee the Document Management System to regulate engineering drawings, design files, and technical documents.
- Assist the 3D Modeling Engineer and design team in managing document revision control, access permissions, and document retrieval processes.
- Fulfill Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards applicable to the design office.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and cost savings within design and machining workflows.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and support technical content creation and review across factory locations.
- Meet accountability standards related to the accuracy of ERP, MES, and DMS data and conform to change control protocols.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in fields such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or similar disciplines.
- At least 3 to 5 years of practical experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, focusing on Supply Chain and Production modules preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of MES platforms and their integration with manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and Power BI or equivalent analytics and reporting tools is beneficial.
- Knowledge of American Petroleum Institute (API) standards in relation to casting and forging design is an advantage.
- Experience with data governance and IT change management procedures is essential.
