Job Overview
We are seeking an ERP Implementation Consultant to join a growing cloud-based finance systems consultancy. This role is ideal for professionals experienced with finance systems, accounting software, ERP support, or finance transformation who wish to expand their expertise in cloud ERP implementation.
Role Description
As an ERP Implementation Consultant, you will help clients through the full lifecycle of cloud finance system deployments. Your responsibilities will span from initial discovery and system configuration to data migration, reporting, user training, go-live support, and ongoing post-implementation assistance.
This position serves as a bridge between finance departments and technology teams, aiming to optimize finance processes, automate workflows, enhance reporting capabilities, and maximize ERP system value for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver cloud finance system implementation projects.
- Engage with clients to understand their finance processes, reporting requirements, and system challenges.
- Configure various system modules, workflows, approval mechanisms, and reporting frameworks.
- Assist in data migration activities and ensure accuracy through data validation and reconciliation.
- Create Excel-based reports, dashboards, and comprehensive management information packages.
- Provide user training and support during go-live phases.
- Monitor and document project actions, milestones, risks, and any implementation issues.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams.
- Acquire expert knowledge of the Iplicit cloud finance platform and related technologies.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have experience working with or supporting finance and accounting systems. Backgrounds suited to this role include ERP Implementation Consultant, Finance Systems Analyst, Systems Accountant, Business Intelligence or Business Analyst, Accounting Software Consultant, ERP Support Consultant, Finance Transformation Analyst, and Finance Manager or Management Accountant with significant systems experience.
Familiarity with finance platforms such as Iplicit, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Business Central, AccountsIQ, or Access Financials is advantageous.
Required Skills and Attributes
- In-depth understanding of accounting and finance processes.
- Experience with finance, accounting, or ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting methodologies.
- Strong attention to data quality and reconciliation accuracy.

- Motivation to attain full Iplicit accreditation.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to client locations as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary of A345,000, increasing to A350,000 upon full accreditation.
