Position Summary

The Embedded Intelligence Analyst will be accountable for monitoring the safety and security of our client’s global personnel and assets, reporting directly to the embedded Team Lead. The role involves supporting Regional Intelligence Analysts in delivering finished intelligence reports that guide business decisions and assist incident management for the client’s internal operations. This position requires engagement with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide immediate consultation and support, and leverage resources from Sibylline’s core team. It demands close coordination with other teams and corporate stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous situational awareness by gathering and analyzing information to safeguard client personnel, facilities, and operations.
• Identify, evaluate, and assess threats and incidents, determining their potential impact.
• Utilize open-source intelligence (OSINT) and internal data repositories to generate tactical intelligence products.
• Conduct investigative research on persons of interest using OSINT and proprietary databases.
• Prepare and disseminate notifications, daily, and weekly intelligence reports.
• Assist in managing incidents and emergencies at client locations worldwide.
• Efficiently triage incidents and emerging threats.
• Monitor company events and ensure employee safety.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

• Ability to create high-quality intelligence assessments under strict deadlines while also maintaining broader strategic perspectives.
• Skill in collecting intelligence and tracking threats and geopolitical developments impacting client assets and interests globally.
• Excellent analytical and research aptitude with native-level English writing and editing capabilities.
• In-depth understanding of international geopolitical, security, and social environments; proficiency in additional regional languages is advantageous.
• Experience working independently and managing sensitive investigations with minimal oversight.
• Effective collaboration across service departments such as IT, HR, and Legal, thriving in multicultural settings.
• Demonstrates integrity, initiative, and an acute attention to detail, particularly when dealing with sensitive information.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills within rapid-paced environments.
• Exceptional customer service abilities with nuanced stakeholder communications.
• Advanced skills in G Suite and data analysis tools, capable of presenting complex information visually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, International Relations, Criminal Justice, Business Management, or related disciplines; equivalent professional experience considered. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in global security, intelligence analysis, or security operations centers.
• Foreign language proficiency highly regarded.

Additional Information

The recruitment process includes an initial phone interview with the Talent Acquisition team, a timed written assessment to evaluate analytical and writing skills scheduled flexibly, a panel interview with Sibylline’s team and hiring managers, followed by a meet and greet with the client.
