Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with standards to encourage student growth.
• Create lesson plans incorporating differentiated instruction, small groups, and learning centers.
• Use the REACH curriculum and instructional technology to aid student learning.
• Regularly assess student progress toward grade-level and state benchmarks.
• Establish a positive and secure classroom that fosters student engagement and achievement.
• Maintain effective classroom management and implement school-wide routines consistently.
• Keep accurate attendance, grade, assessment, and communications records.
• Communicate regularly with families about academic and behavioral progress.
• Prepare for and participate in parent-teacher meetings and family engagement efforts.

Candidate Qualifications

• Must hold valid New York State certification in Elementary Education or be eligible through reciprocity.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related area required; Master's degree is preferred.
• Preferably have documented success in student achievement and instruction.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative educational setting.

• Salary range: $45,000 to $65,860 annually, competitive with local standards.
