About the Role
DPUS Designer Outlet is undergoing rapid expansion and seeks an experienced Ecommerce Manager specialized in Shopify to lead the advancement of its online platform. This role offers an exciting chance to maximize the potential of our Shopify store and boost online sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the Shopify e-commerce website to ensure consistent, efficient performance.
- Lead the e-commerce team by providing mentoring, coaching, and performance guidance to meet organizational and individual goals.
- Work closely with marketing, buying, and operations teams to develop and implement site features, promotional initiatives and enhancements.
- Enhance user experience focusing on navigation, functionality, and mobile optimization.
- Analyze website metrics and customer behavior to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
- Apply SEO best practices to improve site ranking in search engines.
- Coordinate marketing efforts such as email campaigns, paid ads, and social media integration.
- Manage product launches and uploads with detailed descriptions, pricing updates, and inventory oversight, ensuring the store's content stays current.
- Stay updated on Shopify platform updates, apps, and third-party integrations to extend site capabilities.
- Address technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Train and guide e-commerce team members on Shopify tools and effective procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience managing Shopify e-commerce sites, with at least £1 million in annual turnover.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the fashion sector.
- Proven success in driving e-commerce performance and achieving key performance indicators.
- Experience with Shopify Plus is highly preferred.
- Technical proficiency in Shopify themes, apps, and customizations.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
- Excellent understanding of SEO methods and proficiency with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms like Klaviyo and Mailchimp.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
