Role overview
This position sits within Woolworths Group in Huntly, Waikato, New Zealand. The role is focused on keeping an assigned e-commerce workstream running smoothly, accurately, and in line with required standards. You will work closely with the Team Leader and wider team to maintain flow, support order fulfilment, and help ensure day-to-day operations stay on track.
Roster
The roster pattern provided for this role is:
- Monday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Tuesday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Wednesday: 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM
- Thursday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Sunday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Key responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day flow of the allocated workstream and keep processes moving without interruption.
- Follow established routines to complete work accurately and on time, including correct picking of online orders and maintaining fresh food quality standards.
- Work in close partnership with the Team Leader and coordinate with the team to improve efficiency.
- Lead the team on shift, help guide work completion, and provide on-the-job training, coaching, and feedback.
- Step into Acting Store Manager duties on designated shifts when required.
- Spot process issues early and escalate them promptly to the Function Lead for resolution.
- Promote a safe and healthy workplace by following safety procedures, raising hazards, and supporting team wellbeing.
- Take part in communication and collaboration efforts that help create a positive team environment.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a process-driven environment, learning continuously, and building strong working relationships across functions and stakeholders. You should be able to lead a team effectively, delegate tasks, track progress, coach others, and motivate people to do their best work. Strong compliance awareness and clear communication are important, along with behaviour that reflects the company’s values.
This role also requires flexibility to work four weekend shifts each month and at least one evening per week.
