Dispatch Clerk Feeder - Stansted

About the Role

As a Dispatch Clerk Feeder at our Stansted location, you will play a key role in maintaining and expanding customer relationships while utilizing available resources to understand customer requirements and promote UPS Access Points.

Key Duties

• Investigate customer businesses to prioritize potential new and retained business opportunities.
• Engage with customers to understand their business models, industry landscape, and strategic goals.
• Leverage customer insights to illustrate how UPS Access Points can aid in achieving their business objectives.
• Follow up on sales leads derived from customer interactions and tools to attract new Access Point customers.
• Maintain customer relationships by providing assistance and advocating for resolution of service-related problems.
• Guide customers towards utilizing existing service channels for efficient problem solving.
• Analyze competitor tactics to strategically position UPS Access Points.
• Document and update account activities such as call notes and customer status to keep records current.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in logistics or dispatch operations is preferable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform effectively under pressure in a time-sensitive setting.
• Good comprehension of operational workflows, with feeder or gateway experience seen as an advantage.
• Minimum educational requirement: A-Levels or equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in a similar capacity is beneficial.
