Role Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily tasks including meal preparation, housekeeping, personal hygiene, grooming, and transportation
• Encourage participation in social and community activities, such as outings and events
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals and acknowledge their progress
• Promote self-advocacy, independence, and personal choice
• Keep accurate records of care routines, activities, and progress notes
• Collaborate with team members to ensure continuity and quality of care

Candidate Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or its equivalent is required
• Successful completion of background checks and mandatory training
• Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and proof of insurance (primary or secondary) required
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in client homes and public environments
• Strong compassion, dependability, and dedication to positively impacting others

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual, developmental disabilities (I/DD), and/or autism spectrum disorders
• Familiarity with implementing Individual Activity Support Plans (ASP) and Plans of Service and Supports (PSS)
• Knowledge of behavior support techniques such as redirection, visual cues, and environmental adjustments
