Design Coordinator

Overview

Join one of Europe's foremost international main contractors, involved in delivering some of the continent's most advanced and sizable mission-critical projects. This position as a Design Coordinator is based full-time at a contemporary office in Maynooth, Ireland, and supports the execution of major data centre projects across the UK and Europe.

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee and synchronize multidisciplinary design packages across multiple European data centre projects.
• Collaborate closely with Design Managers, BIM teams, consultants, and pre-construction personnel to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of projects.
• Manage design schedules, review drawings, and handle technical documentation.
• Facilitate the flow of design information among consultants, subcontractors, and internal project units.
• Detect and address any design coordination challenges prior to the construction phase.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience in roles such as Design Coordinator, Design Engineer, Technical Coordinator, or similar design management functions.
• Hands-on involvement with large-scale construction ventures including data centres, pharmaceutical facilities, industrial and commercial buildings, or comparable complex projects.
• Thorough understanding of design coordination methods and managing multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong communication, organizational abilities, and stakeholder management skills.
• Legal authorization to work in Ireland is required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from €60,000 to €80,000.
