Job Overview
As a Department Manager, you will drive sales and profitability by implementing strategies to provide exceptional customer experiences in your department and throughout the store. You will lead and develop a high-performing team, managing talent and succession planning, while ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies to meet customer and colleague expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead with a clear vision to guarantee optimal experiences for team members and customers alike.
- Assess team performance regularly, offer constructive feedback, and foster succession planning through ongoing development and training.
- Monitor and analyze departmental sales and profit KPIs to support performance goals.
- Ensure all Health & Safety, legal, and security standards are upheld in alignment with company policy and local regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborate with Store Manager and Area Teams on stock allocation and replenishment to align merchandise levels with sales trends, alerting management to potential risks or opportunities in the competitive landscape.
Required Skills and Experience
- A positive, inclusive, and creative mindset with a passion for customer service and assisting customers with their style choices.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- 1-2+ years of relevant experience, with prior management in customer-facing roles being advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams effectively.
Additional Information
This is a full-time role based in Area-1 of the store, reporting directly to the Store Manager. Applications should be submitted in English with a current résumé by January 7, 2025.
