Role Summary

This position is for a careful and detail-focused Data Operations / AI-Assisted Data Analyst who can support the review, cleaning, organization, and maintenance of business data. The role calls for someone who is comfortable working with spreadsheets and structured data, understands why data accuracy matters, and can use modern tools such as AI assistants, Excel, and basic coding to make data handling more efficient.

The right candidate should bring some hands-on experience with Python or JavaScript, strong Excel capability, and a working understanding of how AI tools can support filtering, validation, summarization, and reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle, organize, and review business data from multiple sources.
• Use Excel to clean, compare, analyze, and summarize datasets.
• Support filtering, validation, and exception reporting for data checks.
• Apply AI tools or AI agents to identify patterns, sort large datasets, and speed up review work.
• Create or adapt simple Python or JavaScript scripts for data-processing tasks.
• Make sure data is structured correctly, consistent, and ready for internal use.
• Spot missing values, duplicates, mismatches, and other quality issues.
• Coordinate with teammates to understand data needs and reporting expectations.
• Record data workflows, assumptions, and known issues in a clear way.
• Manage data responsibly and remain mindful of the business impact of inaccuracies or incomplete records.

Requirements

• Prior exposure to data management, data cleanup, or data analysis work.
• Strong command of Excel, including formulas, filters, sorting, lookups, pivot tables, and validation features.
• Basic working knowledge of Python or JavaScript.
• Understanding of how AI tools or AI agents can support data review, filtering, classification, or summarization.
• Comfort working with structured data formats such as spreadsheets, CSV files, JSON files, or exported database data.
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
• Ability to detect inconsistencies, missing information, and potential data-quality problems.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain findings clearly.
• Responsible handling of data, including awareness of sensitivity and quality concerns.
• B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization or B.C.A. in any specialization.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to APIs, JSON, or applications backed by databases.
• Comfort with automation tools or scripting for repetitive data work.
• Background supporting QA, operations, product, or technical teams.
• Basic understanding of SQL or database fundamentals.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity or data-review workflows.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The best fit for this role is someone who is inquisitive, careful with information, and open to learning new tools. This is not a senior development position; however, the person should be technically comfortable enough to work with data structures, use Excel effectively, and apply Python, JavaScript, or AI tools to improve the speed and quality of data review.

The candidate should appreciate the importance of data quality and handle changes or interpretations thoughtfully, knowing that inaccurate data can affect business decisions.

Compensation: INR 15,00,000 to 20,00,000 per year
