Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join a client project based near Strasbourg immediately. The position involves analyzing large datasets to uncover trends, optimizing KPIs, and supporting strategic and operational decision-making with insightful data visualization.

Responsibilities

Analyze extensive and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Develop, implement, and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPI cockpits using Power BI.
Create and enhance DAX measures, calculations, and data models.
Prepare and visualize data to aid strategic and operational decisions.
Use Databricks for analyzing and processing structured and unstructured data.
Ensure data quality through validation and plausibility checks.
Collaborate closely with business units to gather and execute reporting and analysis needs.
Support project activities with data-driven analyses and project management tasks.
Present analysis results and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
Continuously improve existing reporting and analysis workflows.

Preferred Additional Experience

Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other BI and analytics technologies.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data analytics architectures.
Background in the automotive sector or within an international corporate environment.
Understanding of data governance and business intelligence methodologies.

Candidate Profile

Completed higher education degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related IT field.
Several years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or comparable role.
Strong expertise with Databricks, preferably Azure Databricks.
Advanced skills in Power BI and DAX for complex calculations and data modeling.
Excellent analytical and conceptual capabilities.
Experience analyzing large data volumes and deriving actionable insights.
Proficiency in project management and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Methodical and independent working style.
Fluent German and English communication skills.
