Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst proficient in Python and PL/SQL to join a remote contract opportunity. The role involves analyzing extensive datasets to extract meaningful business insights, writing advanced queries, automating data processes, and producing clear data visualizations and reports for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Investigate large volumes of data to identify trends, patterns, and provide actionable insights that align with business goals.
Create, enhance, and sustain sophisticated PL/SQL queries to extract and handle data effectively.
Implement Python scripts for automation, data cleansing, and comprehensive statistical analysis.
Design detailed data reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Work closely with various remote teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored data-driven solutions.
Maintain data accuracy and consistency across diverse data sources and systems.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Data Analyst or in a related analytical role.
Strong proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation and automation.
Expert-level knowledge of PL/SQL for data extraction, transformation, and management.
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to explain intricate data insights to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

Additional Information

Type of Engagement: Contract position.
Compensation Range: $20 to $45 per hour.
Work Hours: Flexible, between 10 to 40 hours per week.
Workplace: Fully remote, suitable for candidates based in the United Kingdom.
