Role Overview and Responsibilities

This role involves crafting and thoroughly documenting complex, multi-step finance and data analysis workflows that mirror real-world tasks such as data extraction, reconciliation, financial modeling, reporting, and analytical processes. The candidate is expected to independently execute these workflows using authentic tools like Snowflake and Excel or Google Sheets, meticulously recording each step, decision point, and all pertinent input and output data.

Integration of relevant collaboration platforms like Slack for cross-team coordination and shared document systems for distribution and review is a key aspect of the workflow execution. Detailed documentation of each scenario within the Agora system is required, including clear, step-by-step instructions, explanations of reasoning, formulas, queries, and visual aids such as screenshots or result samples.

Additionally, the analyst must proactively detect and communicate ambiguous or complex edge cases to the project team and incorporate their feedback to enhance workflow precision and comprehensiveness. Maintaining stringent data privacy and security standards throughout the workflow execution and documentation is mandatory.

Candidate Profile

• At least two years of direct experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, financial data analysis, or data analytics, particularly involving advanced spreadsheet and data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake).
• Proficient in crafting solid SQL queries for purposes such as reporting, reconciliation, and ad hoc data investigations.
• Proven ability to produce accurate, detail-oriented, and dependable financial workflows and documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey complex processes and context clearly to annotators with varying levels of familiarity.
• Comfortable using collaborative communication and productivity tools such as Slack and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace within finance or data-related workflows.
• Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, or business intelligence dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.
• Background in data annotation, process documentation, or quality assurance is considered a plus.
