Cyber Security Associate

Role Overview

The position of Cyber Security Associate is designed as an entry-level role within the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank's Global Information Security Division (GISD). The role encompasses various responsibilities spanning Cyber Defense Center, Cyber Operations, Governance Risk and Compliance, Resilience, PMO, Privacy Operations, and Engineering Functions. UAE Nationals are eligible for this position, located in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist ADIB teams with comprehensive data security assessments.
• Engage in diverse tasks including conducting research, refining internal processes, and supporting engineering and operational activities.
• Develop detailed reports and recommendations based on analysis, highlighting security vulnerabilities and corresponding risk levels.
• Design and implement penetration testing methods, including scripting and test execution.
• Communicate security findings, associated risks, and conclusions effectively to management and other stakeholders.
• Analyze identified weaknesses or risks to determine their potential impact on business operations if remedial actions are not taken.
• Monitor emerging threats and developments within the technology security landscape and provide timely reports.
• Participate actively in GISD projects and facilitate communication with external stakeholders.
• Complete assigned training modules punctually while meeting required proficiency standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Recent graduates holding degrees in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related disciplines from reputable universities.
• Quick learning ability with adaptability to dynamic environments.
• Capability to thrive in a highly motivated workplace.
• Basic understanding of Cyber Security domains and principles.
• Fundamental knowledge of risk management frameworks.
• Strong communication skills combined with interpersonal aptitude, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
• Flexibility, persistence, and readiness to undertake a variety of tasks and activities.
• Knowledge of current trends and ongoing developments in Information Security and Risk Management sectors.
• Understanding of foundational Information Security principles and practices.
