Role Overview

As a Customer Care Advocate based in Muhanga, Rwanda, you will be the primary liaison between healthcare customers and Zipline's operations teams. Your healthcare expertise will enable you to accurately process orders, prioritize inquiries based on urgency, and maintain clear communication with customers throughout the fulfillment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders through designated channels and Zipline’s order management system, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Prioritize orders and inquiries by urgency and operational impact, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse, Flight Operations, and other teams to verify order status and fulfillment details.
  • Actively track active orders and proactively inform customers of any delays or changes to delivery timelines.
  • Manage customer interactions including calls, chats, inquiries, and complaints, documenting all actions appropriately.
  • Adhere to Good Distribution Practices and inventory standards to ensure compliant selection and fulfillment of medical products.
  • Identify recurring customer or operational challenges and contribute insights to improve service quality.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Laboratory Science, Clinical Medicine, Public Health, or a related medical field.
  • Understand Rwanda’s healthcare delivery system, medical terminology, and the critical nature of timely distribution to patient outcomes.
  • Experience or familiarity with systems like BBMS, SAP, or eVLMIS is advantageous.
  • Knowledgeable about essential health commodities including medical products, blood products, nutritional supplements, and vaccines; experience in animal health is a plus.
  • Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication, sound judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities calmly within established protocols.
  • Willing and able to relocate to Zipline’s Distribution Center in Muhanga and work shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Available for a full-time role of 40 hours per week on a one-year contract with a possibility of renewal.
