This position is based in Newport, NP10 9DQ, United Kingdom, and is a permanent role requiring 45 working hours per week.

About the Role

Join the world leader in logistics as a Courier responsible for delivering and collecting shipments along your designated route. You will be the public face of the company, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels while creating excellent customer experiences daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect parcels efficiently on your assigned routes.
• Offer outstanding customer service at every point of contact.
• Organize and plan your workload to meet delivery deadlines.
• Load and unload shipments carefully and securely.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and adhere to all driving regulations.
• Maintain precise records of deliveries and collections.
• Identify potential opportunities to support current and prospective customers.
• Collaborate with team members to meet service and operational goals.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills paired with exceptional customer service ability.
• Excellent knowledge of local geography and effective route planning skills.
• A positive and proactive attitude, capable of working well under pressure.
• High attention to detail and dedication to safety standards.
• Physically able to manage the demands of a multi-drop delivery role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in courier, delivery, or professional driving roles.
• C1 / 7.5 tonne driving licence.
• Possession of a digital tachograph card.
• Understanding of Dangerous Goods regulations.
