Job Overview
A leading food manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to oversee and enhance improvement initiatives within its manufacturing plant. This role involves a strategic focus on boosting operational efficiency and maintaining quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Participate actively in production planning, budgeting processes, and long-term operational strategy.
- Maintain a consistent focus on operational enhancements to optimize performance.
- Lead quality assessments and monitoring activities to ensure peak operational standards.
- Promote and uphold a safe working environment for production personnel.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners involved in production processes.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a minimum of a bachelor's degree; MBA qualification is preferred.
- At least ten years of experience in managing continuous improvement efforts in manufacturing.
- Six Sigma certification preferred with a black belt highly desirable; green belt holders willing to advance may also be considered.
- Background in USDA or FDA meat or frozen food operations is advantageous.
- Experience managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
