About the Role
Emerald Airlines is inviting applications for the position of Continuing Airworthiness Engineer, based at the Head Office located in Hangar 5, Dublin Airport. This role reports directly to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager and is part of the CAMO department, supporting multiple facets of the airline's technical operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Examine and assess original equipment manufacturer (OEM) documentation, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and modifications including Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs).
- Investigate airline fleet reliability, safety issues, and related data trends, developing effective solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders and third parties concerning reliability matters.
- Lead initiatives that streamline engineering processes and contribute to efficiency improvements.
- Assist in aircraft delivery and redelivery programs.
- Collaborate with OEMs, type certificate holders, regulatory authorities, and maintenance organizations regarding technical concerns.
- Support inquiries into safety incidents or accidents, offering status updates and safety recommendations.
- Provide technical support to line and heavy maintenance divisions and other internal teams as necessary.
- Perform additional projects and tasks as delegated by the Continuing Airworthiness Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent), or alternatively an EASA Part 66 B2 Type License.
- At least three years of relevant experience in engineering or within a CAMO environment.
- Familiarity with EASA regulations is required.

- Previous experience specifically in Continuing Airworthiness Management is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects to meet strict deadlines within a team setting.
- Self-driven to take ownership of responsibilities and complete projects thoroughly.
- Creative problem-solver who identifies improvement areas and proposes effective solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and aptitude for adopting new systems.
