Construction Manager

About the Role

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) invites applications for Construction Manager positions to oversee a significant new project based in Dubai, UAE. The role involves directing and controlling construction activities to ensure alignment with predetermined schedules and budgets, while managing compliance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure construction activities progress according to planned timelines and budget.
• Review project planning documents, budgets, and resource allocation requirements.
• Optimize the use of labor, materials, and equipment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish effective communication processes and conflict resolution methods among project participants.
• Conduct regular monitoring of project advancement and organize status meetings with sub-teams.
• Analyze and update work plans as necessary to maintain project performance.
• Collaborate and coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Manage the project budget, track expenses, and reduce financial risks.
• Secure necessary permits, licenses, and valid NOCs from relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal, quality, environmental, health, and safety (QEHS) requirements.
• Complete and review project documentation and site reports.
• Perform frequent site inspections to oversee work quality and safety.
• Maintain client satisfaction by monitoring feedback and conducting meetings with clients and consultants.
• Participate in QEHS training to enhance staff accountability and performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience, specifically in steel structure projects.
