Role Overview
This newly created full-time position based at our Darra Head Office joins our dynamic Credit team. The role involves high attention to detail within a fast-paced environment, directly reporting to the Credit Manager. You will work collaboratively across Accounts Receivable, Construction, Customer Service, and Claims functions, managing claim and rebate processing to support effective risk management and sustain strong business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and validate credit claims, seeking additional information when necessary.
- Conduct rebate and invoice analyses, including reporting, calculations, and resolving inconsistencies.
- Ensure precise and compliant customer data maintenance as required for audits.
- Handle the timely resolution and reconciliation of aged claims and queries, pursue overdue payments, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer communications adhering to compliance standards.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, balancing assertiveness with professionalism, thriving under deadlines and structured workflows.
- Minimum five years’ experience in roles such as Claims Officer, Accounts Receivable Officer, or Customer Service Officer.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially using formulas for data analysis and decision support.
- Exceptional precision and accuracy with financial data and reports.
- Confident in managing collections and resolving account inquiries.
- Strong organizational capabilities with effective multitasking.
- A proactive approach, able to evaluate risk and implement corrective actions.
- Comfortable using various systems and technology platforms.
- Effective interpersonal skills to engage with customers and internal teams.
- Flexible and adaptable to fast-changing work environments.
