Role Overview
We are seeking motivated and dependable cleaners to join our team at a retail location. The ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced settings, maintain a keen eye for detail, and take pride in delivering clean, inviting spaces for clients and customers. This is a full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:36 PM, compensated in line with award wages.
Primary Duties
- Execute general cleaning tasks to a high standard
- Conduct spot cleaning of furniture and upholstery
- Sweep and mop floors effectively
- Maintain cleanliness of toilets
- Collect and dispose of rubbish
- Clean internal and external glass surfaces
- Dust all hard surfaces thoroughly
Candidate Attributes
- Experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Capable of following instructions and working independently
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong customer service orientation
- Dependable and punctual work habits
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety standards
- Flexibility to work varied hours including public holidays if necessary
- Familiarity with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is beneficial
- Must have valid work authorization for Australia
