About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with business growth priorities.
- Lead and provide executive oversight across software development, system architecture, infrastructure, data management, and innovation initiatives.
- Mentor and develop distributed engineering teams, technical leads, developers, and external partners.
- Establish and enforce standards for software development, architecture best practices, security measures, and system scalability.
- Collaborate with executives and business units to convert strategic business objectives into effective technological strategies.
- Manage modernization efforts, including cloud migration, platform enhancements, system optimization, and reduction of technical debt.
- Guarantee high availability, robust performance, reliability, and security compliance of technology systems.
- Assess new technology trends to enhance business capabilities and maintain competitive advantage.
- Oversee technology budgets, vendor relations, resource allocation, and investment priorities.
- Drive the organization's data strategy, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
- Define and track technology KPIs to evaluate operational efficiency and business impact.
- Foster an innovative, accountable, collaborative, and continuously improving work culture in a remote setting.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity, data privacy, and relevant regulatory compliance requirements.
- Work in partnership with Product, Operations, Finance, Business Development, and other teams for organization-wide initiatives.
- Lead technical aspects of strategic partnerships, including technology evaluations and due diligence.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years in software development and technology leadership roles.
- At least 10 years managing engineering teams and senior technical leaders.
- Prior executive experience as CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, or multi-tenant systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft technologies including .NET framework, SQL Server, and Azure cloud services.
- Advanced understanding of Classic ASP and experience with legacy application modernization.
- Skilled in C# .NET, MVC frameworks, and Entity Framework.
- Strong grasp of modern software architecture concepts such as cloud-native solutions, APIs, and microservices.
- Experience leading platform scalability and technology transformation in accelerated growth environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to manage remote and globally distributed engineering teams.
- Excellent business acumen, linking technology initiatives to revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills.
