Job Overview
We are seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician / Laboratory Analyst for our Quality Control department at Reinbek and Hamburg locations. The position is initially fixed-term for two years and available immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform chemical, physical, and technical tests on raw materials, bulk substances, and finished products.
- Carry out pharmacopoeial testing as part of quality control on raw materials.
- Determine fat values such as saponification number, hydroxyl value, peroxide value, iodine value, and acid value; conduct HPLC and gas chromatography using computer-controlled instruments; perform water content analysis via Karl Fischer titration; execute UV/VIS spectroscopy; perform IR and NIR spectroscopy among others.
- Conduct stability tests according to test instructions.
- Execute qualification and calibration activities related to test equipment monitoring and maintain laboratory apparatus.
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician, pharmaceutical technical assistant, or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional experience in pharmaceutical quality control, especially in performing liquid chromatography (HPLC).
- Experience conducting pharmacopoeial tests.
- Knowledge of GMP-compliant documentation practices.
- Proficient with common computer applications.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
