Carpenter - Temporary Full-Time Position

Job Overview

BAC Fabrication LLC is seeking to employ seven Carpenters for a temporary full-time role. The job site is located at 1270 W. Beaver St., Jacksonville, FL 33204, in Duval County. Employment will commence on April 1, 2023, continuing through November 30, 2023.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures, including concrete forms, building frameworks with partitions, joists, studding, rafters, wood stairways, window and door frames, and hardwood floors.
• Layout, build, and repair multiple substrates such as vertical and soffit framing, ACT, partition assemblies, stud framing with insulated and non-insulated metal panels, and take field measurements.
• Maintain and control field equipment effectively.
• Coordinate scheduling of fieldwork with project management and office staff.
• Assign daily tasks to field personnel based on project progression and produce updated monthly and three-week progress schedules.
• Participate in owner meetings and manage change orders and requests for information (RFIs) from initiation through to closing.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory.
• A minimum of six months of relevant experience is required, with on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Compensation and Work Conditions

• Hourly wage will not be less than $20.06.
