About the Role
We are seeking a committed Caretaker to support the efficient operation of our facilities at Compass Group UK&I through a full-time role requiring 37 hours per week. This position is critical in maintaining high standards of maintenance, cleanliness, and safety at the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the site's facilities remain functional and visually appealing.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good order of the exterior site areas, including general outdoor upkeep.
- Support the facilities management team in overseeing contractor activities, ensuring proper sign-in/out procedures and compliance with site policies.
- Open and close the building as necessary as part of daily site management.
- Act as a company ambassador by upholding a positive brand image throughout all interactions and activities.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a similar facilities or caretaker role is preferred.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in response to shifting priorities and work demands.
- Excellent communication abilities and skill in building effective relationships with colleagues and contractors.
- Highly motivated and committed to delivering excellent work outcomes.
- Initiative-taking, making sound decisions in the best interest of customers and the company.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure.
- Exemplary reliability and punctuality in attendance and work performance.
