Business Solutions Manager

Position Summary

The Business Solutions Manager leads the oversight, management, and enhancement of enterprise-wide business applications such as ERP, Sales Buzz, POS, HR Mena system, and mobile applications within the organization. This role is pivotal in maintaining application stability, security, and alignment with evolving business objectives while championing digital transformation and optimizing processes continuously.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple business applications including ERP, POS, HRMS, WMS, and mobile apps.
• Ensure high availability, optimal performance, and reliability of all systems.
• Direct Level 2 and 3 support activities for incidents, change requests, and system enhancements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation such as configuration logs and user guides.
• Lead and mentor a team comprising functional consultants, application analysts, and support staff.
• Define KPIs, evaluate team performance, and promote continuous professional development.
• Collaborate with department leaders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Drive process mapping and redesign initiatives to boost operational efficiency.
• Oversee adherence to best practices in finance, sales, supply chain, HR, manufacturing, and retail functions.
• Manage projects involving new system implementations, upgrades, module rollouts, and integration improvements.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, training sessions, documentation, and launch activities.
• Ensure effective change management and maintain stakeholder communication.
• Manage vendor relationships, including software providers and implementation partners.
• Review and approve contracts such as SOWs, SLAs, licensing, and renewals.
• Control budgets related to applications and spearhead cost-saving measures.
• Supervise application integrations, API usage, and middleware platforms.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security across all systems.
• Support data warehousing and business intelligence teams by providing verified data sources.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline.
• Over 12 years in managing business applications within FMCG, retail, or manufacturing sectors.
• Proficient in ERP platforms, particularly Dynamics 365.
• Familiarity with Sales Buzz, POS, HRMS, and integration/middleware technologies.
• Experienced in handling system upgrades, deployments, and cross-department projects.
• Solid knowledge of finance, supply chain, sales, retail operations, and procurement processes.
