Team Overview
The Pay & Card division at Binance pioneers innovative methods for global financial transactions and management. Binance Pay delivers a seamless cryptocurrency payment platform allowing users to send, receive, and transact effortlessly with crypto.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with payment service providers (PSPs), acquirers, and high-volume merchants in priority sectors, supporting accelerated expansion of merchant networks and transaction volumes within the MENA region.
- Manage the complete enterprise sales lifecycle including prospecting, cold outreach, pitching, negotiating contracts, overseeing KYB processes, and collaborating cross-functionally to fast-track go-live dates.
- Forge and sustain influential relationships with senior decision-makers in PSPs, acquirers, and major merchants, leveraging regulatory advantages and market credibility to access conventional payment infrastructure partnerships.
- Formulate and implement regional growth strategies focusing on impactful verticals such as gaming, iGaming, trading platforms, e-commerce, online travel agencies (OTA), and digital services while identifying prospects in emerging sectors.
- Work closely with Product, Integration, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing teams to tailor solutions locally, simplify onboarding, and launch collaborative market-entry initiatives to boost merchant adoption and gross merchandise value (GMV).
- Analyze merchant and partnership performance data to segment accounts, enhance commercial terms, increase profitability, and maximize ecosystem influence over the long term.
- Keep a vigilant eye on market competitors, regulatory changes, and sector trends to continuously refine strategies and support global payment distribution expansion.
- Meet stringent key performance indicators focusing on merchant growth, acquirer onboarding, and transaction volume enhancement.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in enterprise-level business development, skilled in engaging and negotiating with C-suite executives and managing complex multi-stakeholder collaborations.
- Established network within payment service providers, acquirers, payment processors, or financial institutions specific to the MENA region.
- Proven capability to operate within regulated markets, addressing compliance and reputational factors in partnership structures.
- Commercial maturity, resilience, and a proactive execution mindset suited for high-growth and expansion-driven environments lacking established infrastructure.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret merchant performance data and convert insights into scalable partnership models.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic essential for coordination with local and international partners; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
