Business Development Manager - AI Services

About the Role

Join BSI's AI Business Unit (AI BU) to contribute to creating positive change for people and the planet. As a Business Development Manager, you will tap into BSI’s global reputation and expert network to develop sales opportunities in new and established markets, targeting sectors including Technology, Professional Services, Healthcare, and Finance. This position offers a remote work setup, with some travel to client sites for meetings and events.

Locations

One role is available in Australia, Malaysia or Singapore, and a second role in Germany, Poland, Netherlands or the UK (the latter requires fluency in German).

Key Responsibilities

• Actively manage accounts and promote AI service offerings to existing and prospective Regulatory Service clients.
• Identify and contact new potential clients to expand BSI’s customer base, targeting profitable revenue growth across the product line.
• Market AI services such as conformity testing and training to sectors including Biometric and Manufacturing.
• Develop a robust sales pipeline via strategic account and opportunity management, providing accurate sales forecasts promptly.
• Deliver presentations to key decision makers and at small conferences, articulating complex ideas and showcasing the full breadth of BSI’s offerings.

Candidate Profile

• Proven consultative sales experience in a professional services environment with a record of account growth at local to global levels.
• For roles based in Europe (EMEA/UK), fluency in German is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills enabling effective collaboration.
• Knowledge of AI regulations and guidance is advantageous but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

BSI provides a competitive compensation package, which in Germany ranges from €63,600 to €79,500 base salary plus 20% commission, with on-target earnings between €76,320 and €95,400. Compensation is influenced by various factors including experience, education, location, and internal benchmarks.
