Business Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst for a contract position based in Dublin, with a hybrid working model. The role starts immediately and offers a daily rate of €370.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to collect and convert business requirements into effective technical data solutions.
• Partner with Data Engineers to design and develop robust, scalable data products and pipelines.
• Lead efforts to maintain data quality, governance, and the establishment of KPIs.
• Contribute to Agile delivery processes, user acceptance testing (UAT), and reporting activities.
• Identify areas to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years' experience working as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Professional background in sectors such as Retail, FMCG, Hospitality, or closely related industries.
• Proven ability in eliciting business requirements and collaborating with technical teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and delivery frameworks.
• Proficient in SQL and Power BI or other comparable business intelligence tools.
• Prior exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or AWS is advantageous.
