Business Analyst

Position Overview

Cleared Recruitment is currently searching for Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts to expand their team. The role focuses on aiding clients in defining, designing, and executing vital capabilities that bolster security postures, manage risks, and deploy new functionalities across Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Operational Technology (OT) settings.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and document stakeholder groups, their needs, and business drivers.
• Lead scoping exercises and set priorities for capability improvements, involving multiple stakeholders.
• Gather and document business and system requirements alongside business processes.
• Analyze pain points and improvement ideas, prioritize enhancements and secure approval for implementation plans.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops to facilitate communication and consensus.
• Assist business development by contributing consulting expertise for client proposals.
• Create materials supporting business change initiatives and capability rollouts.
• Research potential tools needed by clients to meet requirements.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams ensuring adequate information flow from business stakeholders.
• Identify prospects for business growth opportunities.
• Support team development and participate in internal consulting practice advancement.
• Maintain updated awareness of BAE Systems’ capabilities and offerings.

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a TSPV clearance is mandatory.
• Willing and able to travel to client locations for project assignments.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Prior business analysis experience including requirements documentation at various levels.
• Engagement with diverse stakeholders, across different seniority levels, and managing communications effectively.
• Experience in facilitating meetings and workshops for information elicitation and system demonstrations.
• Ability to define current and future business processes clearly.
• Creation of well-structured artefacts that effectively convey concepts to varied audiences.
• Collaboration with engineering teams on comprehensive project deliveries.
• Clear, fluent communication both orally and in writing, with competence to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail; proactive and organised approach.
• Adaptability and readiness to engage in varied tasks across projects and teams.
• Demonstrated proficiency in stakeholder management and engagement.
• Ownership of deliverables, including managing work packages and small project components.
• Willingness to share knowledge and mentor others.
