Job Overview

As a Business Analyst at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in gathering and summarizing data to support Pharmacy and Retail Operations management in both long-term and short-term strategic initiatives and program implementation. Your responsibilities include developing a deep understanding of the business processes related to Pharmacy and Retail Operations and analyzing data to evaluate cost-benefits of proposed initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and consolidate data to aid strategic planning and program development within Pharmacy and Retail Operations.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of business processes affecting Pharmacy and Retail Operations at the Retail Hub.
• Analyze data to propose improvements in systems and operational procedures, including development of specifications and interface opportunities, with clear cost/ROI assessments.
• Act as primary operational liaison for multiple projects, driving execution and communicating project updates to corporate and field stakeholders.
• Collect, analyze, and recommend actionable information to align programs with business and strategic goals.
• Design and implement appropriate reports and analytical tools.
• Collaborate with teams across Pharmacy and Retail Operations, IT, legal, regulatory, and process improvement to develop operational solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED with 3 years experience in data analysis and reporting to identify trends and deliver solutions.
• Proficient in intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for business purposes, including in-state and out-of-state trips.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience or High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of experience in data-driven improvements.
• Advanced degrees like Master’s or MBA are a plus.
• Experience in Retail Pharmacy is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and familiarity with data modeling concepts such as Snowflake.
