Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a dynamic and well-established company specializing in print, mail, and digital communication solutions based in the Greater Bristol Area. This role is integral to a collaborative Project Management team, supporting business transformation, process enhancement, and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, assess, and document business, functional, and system requirements comprehensively.
- Engage with stakeholders to interpret and convert business needs into precise technical documentation.
- Develop Business Requirements Documents, Functional Specifications, user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
- Evaluate and refine business processes to identify automation and efficiency opportunities.
- Provide support for projects utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Lead workshops and sessions aimed at gathering detailed requirements.
- Assist with testing phases ensuring solutions align with business requirements.
- Participate actively in the firm's continuous digital transformation efforts including amplification of AI implementation.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst focusing on IT or Business Change projects.
- Thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent skills in requirements elicitation and documentation.
- Experience with process mapping and enhancing business workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project delivery frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio or equivalent process mapping software.
- Strong communication skills coupled with stakeholder engagement and problem-solving abilities.
