Position Overview and Responsibilities

• Manage international client relationships and foster business development by acquiring new clients and supporting existing ones in biotech support, laboratory services, additives, and methanogenesis products.
• Lead sales and proposal management by preparing economic feasibility analyses and offers, conducting contract negotiations, and independently closing contracts.
• Provide technical and biological consultancy for biogas plants, including overseeing biogas plants and laboratory customers, assessing feedstocks and digestion processes, and developing optimization strategies for biological and chemical metabolic processes.
• Conduct analysis, reporting, and client support through preparing feeding plans, monitoring reports (quarterly and annual), validating operational data, and performing site visits and client meetings.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments and regional service coordinators (RSCs), support training and continuing education initiatives, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and professional presentations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completed academic degree in process engineering, environmental technology, supply engineering, biotechnology, or alternatively, a technical qualification with extensive professional experience.
• Practical experience in biological process optimization, with a background in managing and enhancing biogas plants and evaluating feedstock materials and digestates.
• Strong expertise in anaerobic digestion, including good understanding of biological and chemical metabolic reactions and ability to interpret laboratory results.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English, a structured work approach, high self-motivation, along with strong service orientation and teamwork abilities.
• Health suitability for the workplace, including willingness to undergo occupational health screenings (G20, G25, G37, G42) and proof of Hepatitis A/B vaccination.
