B1 Instructor

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified B1 Instructor specializing in helicopter maintenance to join Airbus Helicopters in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role is fixed-term and focused on training and supervising maintenance technicians on the H145 platform.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or an equivalent recognized aviation training program spanning at least 2 years.
• Possession of an EASA Part 66 or FAA License is preferred.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in maintaining the H145 helicopter, either in military or civilian contexts.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Technical Instructor in the relevant field.
• Holding a Type Rating for the H145 awarded by an OEM-approved organization.
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering On-the-Job Training (OJT) curricula for both novice and advanced maintenance personnel.
• Skilled in creating educational materials such as charts, graphs, handouts, overhead transparencies, and slides to support technical instruction.
• Experience overseeing new maintenance technicians during training assessments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite for managing training records aligned with company policies.
• Technical writing experience of 3 years is advantageous.
• Preferred qualification as Level-7 in related fields such as logistics, maintenance, or training.
• Must possess a recognized instructor qualification or course certificate.
• For non-native English speakers, a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent is mandatory; alternatively, English proficiency will be assessed during the interview.
• Familiarity with office automation software including MS Office.

Mandatory Requirements

• All credentials and information submitted must be substantiated with official documentation.
• Successful completion of the PSS/GSAC interview, conducted physically or online.
• Obtaining security clearance from the Saudi Arabian government.
