Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Aviation Maintenance Administrator specializing in Gulfstream aircraft to join our aviation maintenance team. The successful candidate will perform both routine and urgent maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensure the safety and airworthiness of all assigned aircraft meet rigorous standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on Gulfstream aircraft adhering strictly to manufacturer manuals, FAA regulations, and company protocols.
- Conduct thorough inspections, diagnose issues, repair, and replace components on airframe, powerplant, and avionics systems specific to Gulfstreams.
- Utilize Gulfstream maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, and service bulletins to complete maintenance accurately and efficiently.
- Perform daily, pre-flight, and post-flight aircraft inspections to maintain optimal safety standards.
- Accurately document all maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory standards such as FAA Part 43, Part 91, or Part 135 as appropriate.
- Maintain an orderly, safe, and clean hangar and flight line working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with pilots, fellow mechanics, and management to ensure aircraft readiness and availability.
- Assist in managing inventory of Gulfstream-specific parts and maintenance tools.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent certification.
- At least 3 years of experience performing maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft.
- Hands-on familiarity with Gulfstream systems including Rolls Royce engines, rotor systems, and avionics technologies.
Preferred Skills and Additional Experience
- Three or more years of Gulfstream maintenance experience within a business aviation operator setting.
- Completed Gulfstream factory training and flight safety education.
- Experience maintaining models such as Gulfstream G450, G550, and G650.
- Proficiency working in Part 135 or Part 145 regulatory environments.
- Familiarity with Garmin or Honeywell avionics systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring schematics.
- Competency using maintenance tracking software and digital documentation tools.
Mandatory Requirements
- Possession of a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
