About the Role

Join EY's Audit Strategy & Delivery team at our Jamaica office, where you will play a vital role in helping clients meet their financial reporting requirements through objective, independent examination and constructive dialogues with management and audit committees. Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly understand and apply complex accounting and auditing principles tailored to various client situations.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with client personnel, regularly assessing client satisfaction levels.
• Provide excellent client service and maintain consistent communication throughout the year.
• Oversee daily fieldwork activities, report engagement progress to supervisors, and manage performance of audit staff.
• Guide and develop team members by delegating tasks effectively and offering necessary mentorship.
• Leverage technology to support continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and enhanced service delivery.
• Identify and communicate potential business opportunities within the team.
• Propose and implement innovative ideas by utilizing EY's knowledge and service offerings.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or any related business field, or current enrollment in professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA or CPA.
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in auditing within a public accounting firm or specialized industry experience supporting unique client needs.
