Role overview
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in running the store smoothly and in delivering a strong guest experience. This role focuses on helping improve sales and profitability, guiding team performance, keeping expenses and shrink under control, and making sure merchandising and inventory practices follow company standards and procedures.
Compensation
The hourly pay for this position is between 19.60 and 19.85 CAD, with the exact rate depending on qualifications and prior experience.

Role responsibilities
The assistant manager helps oversee the day-to-day store operation while keeping guest service standards high.
They assist the Store Manager with staffing, sales support, operational tasks, and maintaining profitability.
They also help manage merchandising, inventory controls, company policy compliance, expense control, and shrink reduction.
Requirements
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Previous experience in retail and/or management is required.
The role involves physically demanding work, including more than 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
