Position Overview

The Assistant Store Leader role is designed for individuals with prior supervisory experience eager to join a management team, offering opportunities to grow, lead, and influence future convenience retail. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support customer service delivery, training, and coaching for store employees in collaboration with the Store Leader.
• Drive employee retention by recruiting qualified candidates, nurturing leadership capabilities, empowering teams, and maximizing productivity.
• Assist in executing merchandising and marketing strategies effectively within the store.
• Manage cash handling, fuel sales transactions, and promote the company’s loyalty programs.
• Ensure store safety and cleanliness by adhering to health, sanitation policies, and maintaining product stock levels.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong leadership skills with previous supervisory retail experience preferred.
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; candidates with at least one year of retail management experience may qualify without this.
• Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance as required by state regulations.
• Capability to multi-task, perform physical activities including bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
