Role overview
This position is focused on technical sales in the infrastructure and construction chemicals space. The selected candidate will work with contractors, engineers, project stakeholders, and government-related authorities to present solutions, conduct trials, manage technical-commercial discussions, and help close business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical presentations to EPC, HAM, and BOT contractors, quality control managers, site engineers, and public works engineers.
- Carry out laboratory and field trials, including mix design work, prepare technical-commercial reports, and support commercial conversion.
- Build and maintain relationships with road officers, project directors, independent and authority engineers, and PMU/PIU teams.
- Use working knowledge of soil, aggregate, and bitumen testing methods as per technical specifications, while reviewing quality assurance and quality control aspects of construction activities.
- Identify opportunities in state RRDA projects for soil stabilization work and convert those prospects into business.
- Oversee stabilization projects and pavement assessment activities with SQM/NQM.
- Be ready to travel extensively within the state and, when needed, outside the state.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in the infrastructure sector with a proven ability to sell solutions.
- Exposure to sectors such as highways, airports, railways, or similar infrastructure domains.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders such as contractors, independent engineers, government engineers, ROs, project directors, NHAI, MoRTH, NHIDCL, PWD engineers, and NABL laboratories.
- Background in bitumen, bitumen emulsion, bitumen or soil additives, asphalt, construction chemicals, or related infrastructure industries is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
