Overview
Join Hilton's exceptional hospitality team as an Assistant Gym Manager in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will not only oversee daily operations of the gym and wellness facilities but also deliver memorable, welcoming experiences that embody Hilton's warmth and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Support management of daily activities within the Spa, Fitness Center, Pool, and Wellness areas to ensure smooth functioning.
- Maintain all guest zones with high standards of cleanliness, visual appeal, and operational effectiveness.
- Oversee scheduling, staff allocation including therapists and fitness instructors, fitness sessions, and facility usage monitoring.
- Regularly inspect treatment rooms, gym equipment, pool and wellness areas to ensure quality and safety.
- Adhere strictly to operational procedures and uphold luxury service standards consistently.
- Assist in delivering wellness programs, fitness events, and special activities designed to enhance guest experience.
- Provide a professional and friendly welcome to all guests and members, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
- Conduct tours for potential members and guests, providing detailed information on treatments, memberships, and fitness offerings.
- Lead and supervise staff including fitness instructors, pool attendants, therapists, and reception teams.
- Facilitate gym inductions, fitness assessments, wellness consultations, group classes, workshops, and recreational programs.
- Promote healthy lifestyle initiatives and ensure safe use of equipment throughout facilities.
- Contribute to recruitment, staff onboarding, training, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Organize daily team briefings and departmental meetings; ensure proper staffing and shift coverage.
- Encourage a positive working atmosphere emphasizing teamwork, motivation, and accountability.
- Support the achievement of financial goals by promoting treatments, retail products, memberships, and wellness packages.
- Monitor sales performance, stock inventory including retail products and supplies, and manage purchasing activities.
- Maintain thorough operational records, financial reports, and guest profiles.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, hotel policies, and emergency protocols via inspections and risk assessments.
