Position Summary

The Asset Management Associate will contribute to the financial oversight of a diversified portfolio including investment real estate and development ventures. This role supports transaction processes such as acquisitions, sales, and financing. Essential traits include strong financial analysis capabilities, proficiency in Excel and Argus software, excellent communication skills, and a strong initiative with an entrepreneurial approach. Supervision will be provided by the Vice President of Asset Management.

Key Duties

Develop and adapt Argus models into dynamic Excel cash flow and valuation tools across different property types.
Manage cash flow activities including forecasts, budgets, investor funding requests, and lender draw requests.
Conduct monthly reviews of property financials in collaboration with accounting.
Analyze reports from property management, accounting, and leasing departments.
Prepare high-level investment reports and presentations for executives.
Maintain a comprehensive database of asset information such as demographics, debt, valuations, and cash flow projections.
Assist with the annual budgeting process and update property business plans; prepare and review CAM reconciliations.
Compile lender reporting packages ensuring compliance with loan covenants.
Support acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions including managing due diligence data, coordination with legal and financial parties, and documentation.
Perform ongoing market research to maintain deep insight into relevant markets and submarkets.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in commercial real estate.
Preferably experienced in hotel asset management.
Solid understanding of commercial real estate finance and concepts.
Advanced Excel and Argus modeling capabilities.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
High discretion in handling confidential information.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual base salary ranges from $125,000 to $145,000 with eligibility for discretionary performance bonuses. Employee benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, 401(k) plan, paid holidays, and paid time off.
