Assembler

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and safety-aware individual to join our manufacturing team in Owen Sound, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in production with a company offering competitive starting wages and hands-on training. The work schedule provides an early start to the weekend every Friday.

Working Hours and Compensation

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Starting pay is $22.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate saw equipment including table saw, chop saw, upper cut saw, and band saw by interpreting cut sheets and drawings.
• Assemble crates and skids using various power tools such as nail guns, impact guns, drills, and glue machines.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with power tools.
• Ability to read and understand metric and imperial measurements along with various drawings and blueprints.
• Capability to perform tasks according to production work orders and cut sheets.
• Forklift operation skills and valid forklift license are advantageous for handling raw materials and finished products.
